After completing an MBA at Wits University in the early 1990s and working in the finance team of Australia’s largest publicly listed recruitment company, Vincent Baasch founded Accountants-on-Call in Cape Town in 1995.
Under his management the company grew rapidly to become the city’s leading financial recruitment provider before being sold to Manpower Group, a Fortune 500 company, in 2002. By that time the company had over 100 accountants working for blue chip clients across the Western Cape.
Vincent moved to Ireland and then to the United Kingdom where he started two financial recruitment companies. He then decided to follow his passion for fitness and, with the help of a group of Angel investors, launched a new consumer sports brand which was available in over 2,000 major UK outlets within three years. After living in London for 17 years Vincent has returned to his home country to settle in Onrus, a suburb of the beautiful whale coast town of Hermanus.
